CustardAPL and Diego McCartney private photography lessons, prints, services, and workshops are based in Austin, Texas. 




Payment processing is done through the SquareSpace platform using either Stripe or PayPal as the merchant processor. 


Diego McCartney reserves the right to reproduce this image for use in greetings cards, calendars, books and for any other promotional or commercial purposes.

Refunds are only offered if the print is damaged on arrival and reported no later than 5 days after delivery.

Though efforts are made to ensure the measurements are correct, this is not guaranteed as each print is individually made and some may be hand cut. 

You may be charged customs duties and taxes for this print. (International Orders) 


Please Allow up to 4 weeks for Production & Delivery. I will personally notify you via email in what phase your print is in until final delivery. 

Cancellation policy AND REFUNDS-Workshops

Central Texas Workshops:

  • Should Diego McCartney and or CustardAPL need to cancel the workshop, it is fully refundable, but we will work with you in every way possible to reschedule for another date. 
  • Workshops needing to be canceled due to weather will be rescheduled for a later date. We will contact you at least 2 hours in advance.

  • Should the customer need to cancel the workshop without a reschedule. It is required that the customer contact us at least 72 hours in advance before the time of their scheduled workshop for a full refund. We encourage you to work with us in simply rescheduling the workshop instead. 

  • Cancelation request less than 72 hours will incur a fee of 25% whatever total you paid for the scheduled workshop. 

  • Refunds will be paid in the same method that the original payment was made.

  • Refunds will be initiated within 24 hours of the time that the request is approved.

Workshops: (U.S National Parks & Cusco, Peru)

*Unless otherwise stated in the description of the workshop, the following cancellation policy applies for our National Park & Cusco, Peru workshops:

*Deposits are crucial and non refundable because of the fact that transportation and lodging companies we work with do require us to deposit a full payment 90 days in advance for each participant. We hope you understand. 

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space in the workshop, or you may pay in full.

  • Any remaining balance is due on a certain date stated in the description of the workshop, usually 30-90 days before the start of the workshop.

  • If the remaining balance is not paid in full by the required deadline, your space will be forfeited without any refund of the deposit.

  • If we do not meet the minimum number of participants and need to cancel, you will of course be fully refunded.

  • If you request to cancel and a refund at least 30 days before the start date of the workshop, we will refund you the full amount, minus a 25% service charge of the total amount paid. *This does not apply to the deposit amount. 
  • Refunds will be paid in the same method that the original payment was made.

  • Refunds will be initiated within 72 hours of the time that the request is approved.
  • If you need to cancel your attendance of the workshop, Diego McCartney and CustardAPL may advertise the opening to others. If someone else signs up to fill your spot, we may refund you your deposit, but only if the spot sells to another participant in time. 

*Please contact us if something unforeseen comes up! We understand things happen!! We will work with you. 

Insurance and safety

  • By attending any workshop, you agree to hold CustardAPL and Diego McCartney and its employees and owners harmless for all personal injury or loss that may occur during or in connection with this trip, lesson, or workshop in its entirety. You are responsible for your safety during the entire duration of a workshop or lesson. Do not push your physical abilities past what you are healthy enough to do. You are in charge of deciding if a location is safe for you to travel to.

  • Diego McCartney and or CustardAPL's role in a workshop or is to teach photography. You are responsible for your safety as you travel. We make no attempt to vet attendees of any workshop trip or lesson with multiple attendees.

  • Incase of an extraordinary event, governmental instability, extreme weather, or other condition, Diego McCartney and CustardAPL reserves the right to cancel this and any workshop. 

  • Travel insurance for you and your photography equipment is highly recommended as in the unlikelihood of unfortunate circumstances, Diego McCartney and CustardAPL will not be liable for any damages to individuals or their equipment.

Terms of payment

  • All payments are done through our online Squarspace secure portal page at (https://www.diegomccartney.com/payment). At this time, we only accept payment through all major cards through our merchant Stripe. To learn more about Stripe, please visit their website here. (https://stripe.com)
